temporary Road Closures

Due to the condition of the Lymm May Queen Field and the continued levels of rain, the 2024 Lymm May Queen festival has been relocated to the Village Centre.

Road Closures on 18th May 2024

The annual Lymm May Queen festival will be taking place this year on Saturday 18th May. The event includes a procession through the village centre. The procession through the village will commence at 12pm. The road closures will be in effect for a short period before the procession and will be in effect until the procession is concluded and spectators have safely dispersed to the main event location in Davies Way and Henry Street car parks.

The following road closures will be in place on the day from 11.30am until 1.30pm. There will be provision for emergency services vehicles to be escorted through the village, however no other traffic will be permitted through the village during this period.
