We are thrilled to announce that the Lymm May Queen Festival will be back in 2025, and providing the weather is kind to us this year, we’ll be back on the May Queen Field! (Fingers crossed!)
This year, the May Queen will be on Saturday 17th May. Timings for the day will be announced closer to the date. The theme for 2025 is celebrating the Farming and rural history of our beautiful village.
The other key date for the diaries is the selection for the Lymm May Queen and Lymm Rose Queen and the May Queen Retinue which will be taking place on the 8th February 2025. For details on how the Queen’s selection works and how to apply, please see here.
On behalf of the entire Lymm May Queen committee, I want to express our deepest gratitude for your continued support. Our dedicated volunteers have poured their hearts into planning this event, reflecting their love for our community. There will be a full day of entertainment in the main arena to include dancing, music, live shows, and of course the Crowning of the Queens! If you’re after excitement there is a selection of fun fair rides for the young and the young at heart to get your blood pumping. All of your favourite foods, treats and beverages will be on offer so come hungry!
