Dear Lymm residents and supporters,
As spring nears and warmer weather approaches, we’re delighted to invite you to this year’s Lymm May Queen Festival! The theme for 2025 is British Farming, in support of our rural community and local farmers.
This year, the May Queen will be on Saturday 5th July May. Timings for the day will be announced closer to the date. The theme for 2025 is celebrating the Farming and rural history of our beautiful village.
The other key date for the diaries is the selection for the Lymm May Queen and Lymm Rose Queen and the Retinue (Lady’s in Waiting, Flower Girls, Beefeaters etc) which will be taking place on the 17th May 2025.
Join us in celebrating all things farm related! Dress up as your favourite farm animal, great or small. Do you have a tractor or other farm vehicle and would like to take part in our parade? Or would like to promote your farming business with a farming themed float? We’d love to have you. We’ll have fun farm related activities and stalls planned for the whole family, so get ready for an farmtastic day!
On behalf of the entire Lymm May Queen committee, I want to express our deepest gratitude for your continued support. Our dedicated volunteers have poured their hearts into planning this event, reflecting their love for our community. There will be a full day of entertainment in the main arena to include dancing, music, live shows, and of course the Crowning of the Queens! If you’re after excitement there is a selection of fun fair rides for the young and the young at heart to get your blood pumping. All of your favourite foods, treats and beverages will be on offer so come hungry!
We look forward to seeing you there for a fun-filled day celebrating local produce, farms and British made, as well as our local community, and the Lymm May Queen tradition!
Sincerely,
The Lymm May Queen Committee
